Heat Pumps: Heat pumps are devices that are installed that can be used to heat the building in the winter and cool it in the summer. It only needs electricity to run and typically used in buildings that do not have access to other sources of fuel. Heat pumps may be used in commercial and residential buildings.

Air Conditioners: Deciding on the model of the AC unit, the size, the installation location and quality of workmanship play a major role in the cooling quality and expense efficiency of your air conditioning system. Air conditioners may be used and commercial and residential buildings.

Air Handlers: Air handlers are devices that are installed and connected to boilers and condensers. They are similar to heat pumps in purpose; collect heat energy in winter and release it in the summer and it uses the energy from the boiler(heat) and condenser(cool) that they are connected to. Air handlers may be used in commercial and residential buildings.

Boilers: Boilers heat water, and hot water can be used for heating your building in several ways:

  1. In-Floor Heating: Water pipes(where hot water runs through) are laid in your floor and produce nice radiant heat in the colder months. Pipes may also be laid under your driveway to melt ice during the winter.
  2. Hot Air: An air handler may be connected to your boiler and heat your building using hot air.
  3. Radiant Heat: Similar to the idea of in-floor heating but the pipes are not laid in the floor, they go in an enclosed metal box typically near a wall's baseboard.

Hot water from boilers may be used domestically as well. Boilers may used in commercial and residential buildings.

Hot Water Tanks: Hot water tanks are tanks that heat and store hot water to be used domestically exclusively. They are smaller than boilers and cost a lot less. Hot water tanks may be replaced with tank-less water heaters. Hot water tanks may be used in commercial and residential buildings.

HRVs: Heat recovery ventilators (HRVs) are systems that make air circulation in your building efficient and keep the air quality high . HRVs extract heat energy from the air in your building, heat fresh air with the extracted energy and then replace the old air with the fresh air. HRVs are usually used in commercial and residential building.

Makeup Air Units: Makeup air units pump air into big buildings to provide ventilation. They are used in big residential and commercial buildings.
‍

Exhaust Fans: Exhaust fans are fans that push old air outside your building. They are usually installed as hood-fans and kitchens or in bathrooms. Exhaust fans may be used in commercial or residential buildings.

Roof-top Units: Roof-top units are installed on businesses roof-tops to heat or cool air for the business.
